BUONA PASQUA

 

Right, roll up your sleaves and bake an excellent “ romantic chocolate cake”

Ingredients for 6/8 people: 125 g of butter, 200g of sugar, 300g of flour, 4 eggs, 1 bag of yeast. 100g of dark chocolate. 1 glass of milk, peel of ½ a lemon. Preparation: whisk the softened butter with the sugar and the egg reds which have been slowly added. Amalgamate the flour and the yeast, mix, add the grated chocolate and milk. Thoroughly whisk the egg whites. To the mixture add the lemon peel and the whisked egg white. Pre-heat the oven to 180 degrees C. Butter and dust with flour a tray, which of course will be HEART shaped, pour in the mixture and cook for 45  minutes (check the cake with the simple method using a knife or toothpicks). Leave to cool, demould and serve. Happy St. Valentines!
